I moved to Portland during the Christmas season of 2019…just ahead of Covid.
With my new hometown closed down, for my health and sanity, I walked. I walked to the Pearl, to Sellwood, to Council Crest. I walked the hiking trails and both sides of the Willamette, across the Tilikum, Hawthorne, and Burnside bridges, and back…15-25 miles a week. I walked, and I walked.
One day, walking in light rain, I first noticed and photographed, the beautiful play of patterns, textures, and light, hiding in plain sight at my feet!
Friends encouraged me to print and display some of the over 200 images I’ve captured thus far. And here we are!
I intend for these images that enticed and captured me, to entice and capture you.
